Windstream Corp. (NASDAQ:WIN) is projected to report third quarter net profit third quarter net income of $0.20 per share, up from $0.18 per share in the same period a year-ago.

MasTec, Inc. (NYSE:MTZ) shares slumped 14.42 percent to $18.75 in post market trading session as its fourth quarter earnings outlook fell short of expectations.

For the fourth quarter, the company expects earnings to be in a range of $0.12 to $0.15 per share compared to analysts’ estimation of $0.35 per share. The company reported third quarter net profit of $31.84 million or $0.36 per share compared to $30.01 million or $0.35 per share in the same quarter a year-ago.

Aes Corp. (NYSE:AES) is due to report third quarter earnings before the opening bell on Friday. Analysts expect the company to report third quarter net loss of $0.27 per share compared to $0.20 per share in the same period a year ago.

Linkedin Corp. (NYSE:LNKD) shares slumped 9.36 percent to $79.31 in aftermarket trading session. The company slipped in to third quarter net loss of $1.6 million or $0.02 per share compared to net profit of $0.9 million or $0.02 per share in the same quarter a year earlier.

Northeast Utilities System (NYSE:NU) is forecasted to report third quarter net income of $0.54 per share, down from $0.57 per share in the same quarter last year.

Pepco Holdings Inc. (NYSE:POM) is projected to report third quarter earnings per share of $ 0.42, down from $ 0.52 in the same quarter a year ago.

Genpact Ltd. (NYSE:G) shares surged 7.3 percent to $17.50 in aftermarket trading session. Its third quarter net profit rose to $48.0 million or $0.21 per share from $40.1 million or $0.18 per share in the same quarter a year-ago.

Ameren Corp. (NYSE:AEE) is projected to report third quarter earnings per share of $ 1.29, down from $1.40 in the same quarter a year ago.
