RTTNews - Stocks moved lower at the start of trading on Wednesday, with the major averages giving back some ground after trending higher in recent sessions. The initial weakness came as some traders looked to cash in on the recent gains.

With Aetna (AET) leading the way lower after slashing it full-year guidance, health insurance stocks are seeing considerable weakness in early trading. Resource stocks have also come under pressure amid a pullback by commodities prices.

The major averages are currently posting notable losses, just off their lows for the young session. The Dow is currently down 55.51 at 8,685.36, the Nasdaq is down 16.24 at 1,820.56 and the S&P 500 is down 9.11 at 935.63.
