The S&P 500 and Dow turned lower while the Nasdaq fell more than 1 percent in late trading

on Monday, with pharmaceutical and retail shares among the biggest drags on the Dow.

The Dow Jones industrial average <.DJI> was down 25.99 points, or 0.25 percent, at 10,424.65. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index <.SPX> was down 6.36 points, or 0.57 percent, at 1,111.15. The Nasdaq Composite Index <.IXIC> was down 23.57 points, or 1.02 percent, at 2,286.23.
