Walmart Christmas Hours
Wal-Mart Stores Inc. (NYSE:WMT) is expected to report FY 2014 second-quarter EPS of $1.25 on revenue of $118.74 billion, compared with EPS of $1.18 on revenue of $114.30 billion in the year-ago period. Reuters

Walmart may have been closed on Christmas day, but its after Christmas sale has begun with incredible discounts.

The biggest deals are on electronics as Walmart prepares to clear its shelves to stock new models of the latest gadgets. Some HDTV's, stereos, DVD players, tablets and laptops are on sale with up to 70 per cent off their original retail price.

Barnes and Noble's latest Nook color tablet has rolled back from $249 to $198.86 at the Walmart after Christmas sale. Even the 32GB iPad has had a few bucks knocked off its original price, although it varies from store to store. Sony HDTV's start at just $269 for 32.

Walmart stores open on Monday at 5am with up to 50 percent off home décor, furnishing, toys, clothing and candy. The sale continues online and goes around the clock until stock runs out.

Some deals are exclusive to online shoppers. The Kodak C1530 14 megapixel digital camera bundle, with 3x Optical Zoom and 3.0 LCD display, is priced at $59 and a Kodak M5350 16 megapixel digital camera is only $84, in the online sale.

The after Christmas sale is the biggest shopping event after Black Friday. Thousands of people flock to Walmart, Best Buy, Macy's and Bloomingdales to catch the biggest clearance deals before the New Year.

All sale items are based on final stocks, therefore retailers urge customers to get their hands on the deals quickly, especially those shopping online, as stocks are expected to run out much faster.
