“Stranger Things” Season 2 premieres on Netflix on Oct. 27. Netflix

With Netflix’s fantastical, horror-drama “Stranger Things” becoming a surprise hit sensation after it premiered on the streaming service in July 2016, fans have been not-so-patiently been waiting for new episodes.

Well, that waiting has almost come to an end as Season 2 of the unique series arrives on Oct. 27. Ahead of its debut, viewers have been left to continue to ponder all the questions raised in Season 1. To help make sense of it all and to gauge everyone’s thoughts, Qualtrics, an experience and insights company, recently surveyed over 500 adults who regularly watch TV to produce a study about content and viewing habits, as well as about more “Stranger Things”-specific reflections from those who watch.

Fans were asked to choose who they thought would most likely die this season, out of the main cast, and apparently they don’t think Chief Hopper (David Harbour) has quite the right chops to survive another town horror. Twenty-eight percent of the people surveyed think he will die in Season 2. Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) is at a fairly close second, with 18 percent of those asked believing she will meet her end.

From there, it’s Steve (Joe Keery) with 15 percent, Will (Noah Schnapp) with 14 percent, Nancy (Natalia Dyer) with 7 percent, Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin) at percent, Joyce (Winona Ryder) at 5 percent and Mike (Finn Woldhard) with 3 percent. Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo) and Jonathan (Charlie Heaton), according to those polled, seem to be the most likely to survive with only 2 percent of those surveyed thinking they will die in Season 2.

Though only 14 percent think Will will die, 31 percent believe that Will is a changed boy since returning to town and that he’s actually a Demogorgon. If this is true, fans will just have to wait to see if there’s a way his friends can save him once again. While viewers will have to continue to wonder about that, saving Eleven is a different story.

At the end of Season 1, it looked like Eleven would be gone forever, but 90 percent of those surveyed believe that she can, and will, be saved in Season 2.

With the importance of saving Eleven out of the way, the topic of romance is able to find its way through. The first season brought Nancy together with Steve, but then it also had her connecting with Jonathan. The love triangle seemed to have concluded with Nancy and Steve becoming an item, but no one could deny the chemistry she also had with her other suitor, leaving fans to wonder who she would end up with in next season. The responses were fairly close, but more people seem to feel like Jonathan will find his way into Nancy’s heart, as 63 percent chose him over Steve when asked who Nancy would end up with.

If all of these thoughts and answers mean little more than nothing to you because you haven’t even seen “Stranger Things” Season 1 yet, there’s still time to get caught up. There might only be one week left until Season 2 premieres, but most viewers took less than that amount of time to watch the first season anyway.

Since binge-watching seems to be the name of the game on Netflix, 43 percent of the people who watched all of “Stranger Things,” only took up to three days to do so, while 32 percent of viewers took between four and seven days. That means that 75 percent of watchers completed Season 1 in one week, which also means that you have time to watch it before almost-immediately being able to binge the second season.

Find out which responses turn out to be correct when Season 2 of “Stranger Things” debuts on Netflix on Oct. 27.
