The first logo for “Suicide Squad,” via Superhero Hype, was revealed at Licensing Expo 2015, Las Vegas. It features the film’s title, written in red and white. Figures of a gun and target circle have been included in the logo. In addition, photos of Jared Leto as the Joker and Will Smith as Deadshot were also released.

In one photo, Leto can be seen wearing a “Damaged” tatoo on his forehead and a skull tatoo on his chest. He appears to have green hair and is wearing a purple glove on one of his hands. His teeth seem tainted and his lips appear to have a deep red color. Meanwhile, Smith can be seen wearing a gray mask, with only one eye visible. He also appears to have a red band around his neck, which has “Light” written on it.

In the comics, Joker is portrayed as a psychopath with a sadistic sense of humor. He is the criminal mastermind and the archenemy of Batman. He gets white skin, red lips and green hair after falling into a tank of chemical waste. Deadshot is an assassin who seldom misses his target. He can use a variety of weapons but most commonly uses wrist-mounted guns. Just like the Joker, he is also the enemy of Batman.

Smith’s Deadshot will lead a gang of supervillains in “Suicide Squad,” including the Joker, Harley Quinn, Rick Flag, Captain Boomerang, The Enchantress, Katana and others.

The film is a “ 'Dirty Dozen' with supervillains,” director David Ayer told Empire magazine. “I love the passion [comic-book fans] have for these characters and these worlds. I think there’s something incredible about the comic genre and technology has finally caught up with pen and ink to render these fantastic worlds in a way that feels believable and visceral to audiences. It’s a secular religion in that regard.”

Ayer has also written the film based on the comic book “Suicide Squad” by John Ostrander. Richard Suckle, Charles Roven and Colin Wilson are the producers and other cast members include Margot Robbie, Joel Kinnaman, Jai Courtney, Cara Delevingne and Viola Davis.
