Supermodel Gisele Bundchen, the wife of New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, sent her friends a bizarre e-mail message in which she begged that they pray for her spouse’s club to win the Super Bowl this Sunday against the New York Giants.

The message is filled with New Agey platitudes and meaningless pseudo-spirituality.

According to the New York Post, which unearthed the missive, the Brazilian bombshell wrote: “My sweet friends and family This sunday will be a really important day in my husband’s life. He and his team worked so hard to get to this point and now they need us more than ever to send them positive energy so they can fulfill their dream of winning this super bowl.”

She added: “So I kindly ask all of you to join me on this positive chain and pray for him, so he can feel confident, healthy and strong. Envision him happy and fulfilled experiencing with his team a victory this sunday. Thank you for your love and support. Love, G ?”

When the Post reached out to Bundchen, she snippily responded: “I am surprised that you received this e-mail; it was a private note only sent to close friends and family.”

Perhaps Brady will need some divine intervention. While the Patriots are favored to win the Super Bowl by three points, most gamblers in Las Vegas are putting their money on the Giants.

MGM Resorts International, which operates 10 sports books on the Strip, said about 65 percent of the money bet on the big game in its casinos is on the Giants.

“[The public is] betting the Giants, and I think that will be the trend going into the weekend, Jay Rood, vice president of the race and sports book at MGM.

I am fairly certain that it's happening throughout the whole state (of Nevada) as well so I'm pretty sure the state is going to need a Patriots victory.
