Since alcohol is normally involved during Super Bowl parties, play this drinking game while watching the Denver Broncos and Carolina Panthers duke it out for the coveted Vince Lombardi Trophy. Reuters

One of the best parts about the Super Bowl is eating and drinking with friends and family. So while the Denver Broncos and Carolina Panthers battle it out Sunday to see who will win the coveted Vince Lombardi Trophy, viewers can throw back some brewskies — and possibly liquor — with this fun drinking game. Of course, please be of legal drinking age if you’re going to participate. Nothing ruins good old American fun like cops breaking up a party. Check out the game we created below and share it with your fellow revelers at this year’s bash.

Field goals: While field goals aren’t the most exciting part in a game, a missed one can make a huge difference in a tight contest. Every time either team gets a FG, take a sip.

Touchdowns: Not only are touchdowns arguably the most exhilarating part of football, they’re the best way to win the game. Every time either team gets a TD, take a sip.

Great catches: Whether it’s an amazing throw by quarterback Peyton Manning or awesome catch by Kelvin Benjamin, take a sip every time either team completes a great pass.

Interceptions: Interceptions can change the momentum of a game. Whether or not it results in points on the board, take a sip every time there’s an interception. If it results in points on the board, take a shot.

Halftime: Coldplay and Beyoncé are taking the stage for this year’s halftime performance. Take a shot if Beyoncé makes an ugly face, like at the 2013 Super Bowl, or if Chris Martin sings off-key. Chug-a-lug each time they sing a different song.

Game over: Take a shot if your team loses. Take a shot if you team wins. Indifferent about the outcome? Take a shot.

Super Bowl 50 will be broadcast live Sunday, Feb. 7 on CBS from Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California. Kickoff is at 6:30 p.m., EST.
