“Supergirl” is introducing a bunch of new faces in Season 3.

During the show’s San Diego Comic-Con panel on Saturday, it was announced that Adrian Pasdar, Yael Grobglas, Carl Lumbly and Emma Tremblay will all appear in the upcoming season of the CW series.

Pasdar will play ruthless real-estate developer Morgan Edge, who has big plans for National City but immediately finds himself at odds with Kara Danvers (Melissa Benoist) and Lena Luthor (Katie McGrath). Pasdar is best known for his role as Nathan Petrelli on NBC’s “Heroes” and currently recurs as Glenn Talbot on ABC’s “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.”

Grobglas will appear as DC villainess Psi, a formidable opponent with psychic powers. Her first encounter with Kara will leave the Girl of Steel affected in surprising ways. Grobglas currently portrays Petra Solano on CW’s “Jane the Virgin.”

Lumbly, meanwhile, will pop up in Season 3 of “Supergirl” as J’onn J’onzz’s (David Harewood) father M’yrnn J’onzz. Described as a pacifist religious leader on his home planet of Mars, M’yrnn will push his son Martian Manhunter in unexpected ways. Lumbly is no stranger to Martian roles, as the “Alias” alum was the voice of J’onn on the animated series “Static Shock,” “Justice League” and “Justice League Unlimited.”

Lastly, Tremblay will portray the role of Ruby, an independently minded “Supergirl” fan whose obsession with the Girl of Steel ends up putting her in grave danger. The young actress, who is Jacob Tremblay’s sister in real life, recurred in Season 2 of Fox’s “Wayward Pines.”

As previously reported, other newcomers who are joining “Supergirl” in Season 3 are Erica Durance and Odette Annable. Durance will take over the role of Kara’s late biological mother, Alura Zor-El. Alura was played by Laura Benanti in Season 1 and 2.

Annable, meanwhile, will play Season 3 big bad, Reign. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Reign will be introduced as part of “Supergirl’s” interpretation of the famed World Killer storyline from the DC Comics. In the comics, Reign is one of the five Worldkillers created by Supergirl’s biological father Zor-El. Just like Supergirl, Reign possesses superhuman strength and speed, as well as the ability to fly.

“Supergirl” Season 3 will premiere on Monday, Oct. 9 at 8 p.m. EDT on The CW.
