Henry Cavill and Kaley Cuoco have reportedly ended their relationship after just two weeks of dating, a source confirmed to People magazine, but gave no reason for the split.

According to reports, the couple is trying to remain friends following their break up.

This news comes just days after reports of their romance, which the ‘Man of Steel’ actor and ‘Big Bang Theory’ actress were trying to keep under wraps, broke out in early July.

"They are totally hot for each other," a source close to the couple told Us Weekly at the time.

But, the attraction was short-lived, and the relationship soon fizzled out after a few public dates, which included a PDA-filled grocery shopping trip and a hike in the Hollywood Hills.

The duo, who is represented by the same Beverley Hills publicity firm, Viewpoint Inc, is said to have met sometime in June, during which time Cuoco took to her Twitter account to express her admiration of the British actor.

Uploading a photograph of hers gazing at a ‘Man of Steel’ poster, Cuoco urged her fans to watch the flick, writing: “Everyone go see ‘man of steel.’ It's fantastic in every single way.”

Cuoco had earlier dated Bret Bollinger and her ‘Big Bang Theory’ costar Johnny Galecki. Cuoco and Galecki had kept their romance secret throughout the two years they were together.
