We knew “Supernatural” was headed for a dark Season 10 – but we certainly didn’t anticipate this to be the result of Dean’s demon-transformation. Jensen Ackles, who will be portraying the role of the black-eyed creature in the upcoming season of the hit CW series, revealed to E! News some juicy teasers regarding his supernatural resurrection.

“It was a tough season for old Dean last year,” Ackles quipped. You can say that again! Not only did Sam and Dean Winchester have their fair share of brotherly quarrels in Season 9 but Dean also evolved into a demon during the very last moment of the show’s finale episode.

“He was going through a lot… I wanted to take all of that away, all the weight of the world, all the heavy, the guilt, all of that stuff, remove all of that, because Demon Dean does not care. That’s kind of where I went with this character. He is Dean without a care in the world… It’s not comedic, it’s almost scarier. He cares so little for everything and everybody, and he loves it," Ackles said.

When the “Supernatural” airs its Season 10 premiere on Tuesday, Oct. 7, at 9 p.m. EDT, fans will watch as Crowley and Dean travel around the world getting into all different types of mischievous problems

Oh, it’s like an ultra-version of a womanizing party animal,” Ackles described to TVLine what fans can expect of Demon Dean. “He’s out partying in Vegas with the King of Hell, he’s got backstage passes and he doesn’t give a sh*t about anything. That’s essentially what we’re going to see.”

But eventually Crowley won’t be able to keep up with Demon Dean’s shenanigans. Ackles dished that his character will “end up being too much” for the King of Hell.

"He's not just a demon, he's a demon with the Mark of Cain, which makes him like uber demon," Ackles revealed. "So there's so much evil inside him, there's so much devil inside him, that the practical Dean is smothered."
