supernatural season 11 spoilers
Sam (Jared Padalecki, left) and Dean (Jensen Ackles, right) will hit the road to take on a new, paranormal case during Season 11, episode 4 of "Supernatural." The CW

Pack your bags, “Supernatural” fans, because it’s time for a little road trip! The Winchester brothers will be hitting the highway in Season 11, episode 4, titled “Baby” -- in an installment that will take place entirely in Dean’s (Jensen Ackles) beloved 1967 Chevrolet Impala.

“Seen entirely from the point of view of the Impala, Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean go on a road trip to fight monsters and demons,” the synopsis reveals.

But according to the show’s executive producer, Jeremy Carver, who first addressed the Impala-centric installment at the 2015 San Diego Comic-Con in July, the focus of the upcoming episode is only one of the reasons he’s excited to see “Baby” air Wednesday.

“One of the fun parts about the episode is that it really investigates what it means to be living your life out of your car,” the EP spoke of the concept behind the episode in a sneak-peek video, adding that the cast and crew are “very excited” to share the fun installment with fans.

Carver then explained that the upcoming episode was meant to fill in the gaps of what happens when the Winchester brothers go off to solve a case.

“There’s those moments in the show where the boys decide to take the case and then we sort of watch the car go out into the distance and then suddenly they're in that town. This episode takes the time to say what happened in the moment where they’re actually driving to this town,” he divulged.

That means fans can expect a “little bit of everything” to happen while the boys attempt to hunt down the “werepire,” according to Padalecki. The actor dished to Entertainment Weekly that the Impala episode would have the “obligatory Sam-and-Dean-talk-over-the-hood-of-the-Impala” as well as a car-wash scene.

“Supernatural” Season 11, episode 4 airs Wednesday at 9 p.m. EDT on The CW.
