supernatural season 11 spoilers
Dean (Jensen Ackles) will attempt to hunt down little Amara (not pictured) in Season 11, episode 3 of "Supernatural." The CW

They grow up so fast, don’t they? The last time “Supernatural” fans saw Amara, the orphaned, Mark of Cain-sporting baby, she had evolved into a walking, talking – and super hungry – pre-teen.

During Wednesday night’s installment of the hit CW drama, Crowley (Mark Sheppard) creepily lured the mystical adolescent into his windowless van by offering Amara some candy. (And by candy, Crowley meant he had human souls for the dark child to feast on.)

But according to the promo video for episode 3, titled “The Bad Seed,” not even a family of four could fill the insatiable – and seriously adorable – creature.

“I’m hungry,” the brown-haired girl says in the trailer for the upcoming installment. So what does papa Crowley do? Well, it looks like he finds something – or should we say someone? – for Amara to snack on: the maid.

But the reason Crowley has taken on the role of surrogate Darkness daddy is for his “own personal gain,” according to the synopsis for episode 3. The King of Hell apparently wants to use Amara’s old, deep and dark powers for his own benefit despite Dean (Jensen Ackles) telling Crowley that he needs to kill the child – especially after seeing how Amara caused Jenna (Laci Mailey) to kill her own grandmother in cold blood.

The summary reveals that Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean will spend the upcoming installment “searching for the missing baby” who they believe is connected to the Darkness. Meanwhile, “Rowena (Ruth Connell) will try to consolidate her power to protect herself from the Winchester brothers.”

It seems safe to say that while the brothers grim are hunting down the soul-sucking baby, they’ll also be searching for Rowena, hoping to cure Castiel (Misha Collins), after the powerful witch cursed him in the Season 10 finale of “Supernatural.”

“Supernatural” airs Wednesday nights at 9 p.m. EDT on The CW.
