Microsoft is hosting another daily offer, this time putting a Surface Pro deal front-and-center on its online store. On Friday, the store is offering a Surface Pro 3 with 128 GB of storage and an Intel Core i3 processor for just $699, a $200 saving.

Customers taking advantage of the offer will also receive a $50 gift card, valid both online and in Microsoft's stores. The gift card could be put toward a new Xbox One, a Windows 10 discount or even as a gift to a tech fan.

Although the Pro 3 launched in June 2014, it's still a strong competitor in the 2-in-1 tablet space. The 12-inch device features Microsoft's re-engineered kickstand, which allows for multiple viewing angles, while the 2160 x 1440 pixel display shows crisp text and pictures at ultra-high resolution.

The deal does not include the Surface Pen or Type Cover. The Surface Pen, which costs $59.99, works directly with the screen and offers palm rejection. Note-taking is made simple with a button on the top of the pen: Press it, and a new blank sheet in OneNote is opened for immediate jotting down. The pen also includes multiple pen tips for switching out and getting ultra-precise drawing capabilities for complex art projects.

The Type cover, redesigned for the Surface Pro 4, also works with the Pro 3 and provides a keyboard and trackpad on-the-go to turn the Pro 3 into a viable laptop replacement. The cover's physical keys cost $129.99 and are a relief for writing long-form essays or cranking out important emails.

Microsoft's offer is only valid for Dec. 4, as the company send out a new Microsoft deal every day until Dec. 12. Each offer is only available while stocks last, so it's in the consumers' best interests to order early before the deal gets pulled from the shelves. Each deal goes live at 3 a.m. EST.
