Scooby Doo is the healthiest of all the children's programs, says a survey released by the UK Department of Health. The survey consultants reached the conclusion after watching 200 hours of children's television and 20 most popular programs.

Each character was rated on their activity levels and received marks for good behavior such as walking short journeys and playing sport, the Department of Health said.

Since the Scooby Doo characters are almost always escaping from the monsters the cartoon was named the healthiest.

The health department officials, however, don't project Scooby Doo, who loves Scooby Snax, as a healthy role model.

The ministry termed the survey a fun talking point released alongside a new partnership between their public health campaign, Change4Life, and a program called LazyTown.
