Caleb Reynolds was part of an “unprecedented” episode of CBS’ “Survivor” on Wednesday night, but it wasn’t a happy ending. After giving it his all during episode 4’s reward challenge, Season 32 contestant Caleb was eliminated from the game when doctors deemed him unfit to continue the competition. Following his tearfully leave from the Beauty tribe, Caleb reached out to his fans on Twitter.

“Thank you so much for the love and support. I love you all fans,” Caleb wrote. While host Jeff Probst has confirmed that Caleb’s journey this season is complete, the “Big Brother” alum said he has plan to make a “Survivor” comeback. “You WILL see me again!” he wrote.

"Thank you all so much for all the love, support that you have all shown me through 'Survivor," Caleb continued in a YouNow video. "I’m sorry I didn’t do better. I gave it my all and I wanted to go far. I wanted to go for the win. And I wanted to make it all the way to the end and take home the money to the family."

After sharing he's now in good health, Caleb once again hinted at a return to the CBS series in the future. "I know it was a scare tonight. I apologize. But it wasn’t intentional. When you give 110 percent at stuff like that sometimes that can happen," he said. "You gotta keep going when you fall. Just get back up and keep going and you can use that in any aspect of life, whether it be a 'Survivor' game, whether it be 'Big Brother,' whether it be losing a job, whatever it may be, you guys just have to remember that everyone falls … As you guys can see tonight I fell but I'm standing back up and I'm moving forward. Just know, hint hint, wink wink, you guys will see my again.”

Prior to being eliminated, Caleb promised his Twitter fans Wednesday’s installment wasn’t to be missed, and boy, he wasn’t kidding. After almost an hour of digging in a sand pit with his tribe members, the Beauty team located three bags of balls they were searching for in "Signed, Sealed and Delivered." With Caleb taking the lead, the tribe finished the challenge in second-place, beating out the Brawn team and earning a special reward. Their victory, however, was short-lived.

Minutes after the challenge Caleb collapsed and Jeff called for medics to check him. On-site doctors said Caleb was overheating. Despite giving him oxygen, a saline IV, his internal temperature did not decrease and the Jeff ordered for an evacuation. Two other contestants also required medical attention after the challenge, Debbie from Brain and Cydney from Brawn, but neither were forced to leave the game.

“You pushed brother. You pushed very hard,” Jeff told the visibly upset Caleb. “It took a toll. This is as far as you’re gonna go."
