RTTNews - Sweden's current account surplus for the first quarter decreased by SEK28.3 billion from last year to SEK53.2 billion, the Statistics Sweden said Wednesday.

During the quarter, the surplus in the goods and services account decreased to SEK54.3 billion, while the income account surplus fell by SEK3.1 billion to SEK7.2 billion.

Meanwhile, the financial account showed a deficit of SEK44.9 billion in the first quarter. The capital account also showed a negative balance in this period.
