RTTNews - Swedish central government deficit in June was SEK 102.7 billion, a turn from SEK 16.7 billion surplus in May, the Debt office said Tuesday. It was above the Debt Office's forecast for SEK 89.3 billion deficit.

Disbursements were almost SEK 8 billion higher than calculated due to higher than expected tax reimbursements. The Debt Office's net lending to state agencies was SEK 5 billion higher than estimated. Interest payments on central government debt were SEK 1.7 billion.

The surplus for the twelve-month period up to the end of June amounted to SEK 30 billion. Central government debt amounted to SEK 1.07 trillion at the end of June.
