RTTNews - Wednesday, the Statistics Sweden said in a report that the activity index, which measures activity in the Swedish economy, dropped a seasonally adjusted 0.05% month-on-month in May compared to a 0.11% growth in the preceding month.

The statistical office said the decrease in the index was mainly due to decrease in exports of goods and industrial production. However, imports and retail trade turnover made positive contributions. However, hours worked by employees in government agencies made no impact.
