RTTNews - Swedish producer price annual inflation slowed to 3.2% in April from 4.8% in March, the Statistics Sweden reported Thursday. Economists had expected annual growth to ease to 4.3%.

Broken down into domestic and export markets, prices rose 0.3% and 5.9%, respectively. Import prices climbed 0.6% year-on-year in April, slower than the 2.5% increase seen in March.

Compared to March, export prices slid 1.6% and import prices dropped 1.3%. Meanwhile, the producer price index fell 0.9%, following a 1% rise in March.
