Swiss consumer price index met market expectations in the month of June, as it dropped by 0.2%, worse than the previous flat reading in May, while on the yearly the index rose by 0.6% higher than the previous rise of 0.4% and below expectations of 0.7%.

In EU harmonized terms, inflation was flat on the month up from the previous -0.1%, and on the year inflation rose 0.6% following the previous 0.3%.
