Swiss KOF grows, even though less than expected

FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - The KOF Swiss Leading Indicator grew to 1.68 in December, up from 1.62 the previous month, but slightly behind analysts' forecasts of even greater growth into the 1.74 range.

With this month's increase, Switzerland's economy shows continued signs of recovery even since the KOF hit bottom at -1.85 in May.

The KOF survey is considered a major indicator of the overall health of the Swiss economy since it combines both current growth and future outlooks.
