FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - Swiss industrial activity seems to be growing at a steady pace, as the SVME PMI has posted an slight increase in January from December instead of the decline expected by market analysts.

SVME Purchasing Managers' Index has increased to 61.6 in January from revised 60.8 in December, previously estimated 61.3. January's reading has been better than the 60.3 expected by the market, in a reading which shows expansion of activity in figures over 50, and contraction otherwise.
