Swiss trade balance showed that trade surplus widened in February to 2.68 billion francs from 1.55 billion francs, revised down to 1.50 billion francs surplus, beating forecasts of 1.80 billion francs surplus.

Exports advanced 9.2% compared with a revised of -10.4%, which was -3.4% initially, and median estimates of 0.3%. On the other hand, imports plunged 12.3% from a revised of 5.5%, which was 3.6% before revision.
