Swiss trade surplus widened in April to 1.52 billion francs compared with the prior surplus of 1.09 billion francs which was revised to 1.00 billion francs. The reading was boosted by the 7.9% advance in exports from the revised 3.1% drop which was -4.8% initially. Imports, on the other hand, advanced 4.0% from the preceding 1.3%, revised up to 1.8%.
