Swiss trade balance report for the month of October showed a widening surplus of 2.15 billion francs from 1.85 billion francs in September.

Exports climbed 1.3% while the prior reading was upwardly revised to 4.3% from the initial 3.4%. Imports, on the other hand, rose 1.4% compared with revised 0.7% which was 1.3% initially.
