In the Freeform sneak-peek clip, Daphne can be seen telling Regina about her school project that deals with cellular memory which means organ transplant patients would inherit some of their donors DNA.

For those who may not remember, Angelo died from a brain aneurysm after a car accident and his organs were donated during Season 3 of “Switched at Birth.”

In the sneak peek, Daphne asks her mother if she has ever considered meeting any of the people that received Angelo’s organs. Regina, who seems surprised by the question, quickly answers “Absolutely not.”

Regina explains that Angelo’s death was a difficult time that she wouldn’t want to remember with a complete stranger. Although Daphne attempts to make her understand that these people have a piece of Angelo inside of them, Regina is simply not interested.

Getting a further look into episode 7, “Switched at Birth” series creator Lizzy Weiss shared a sneak peek of the episode in the form of a script.

In the scene, Daphne walks into the kitchen to find Angelo and Bay (Vanessa Marano) having a normal conversation like it’s just another day of the week. As Bay and Angelo discuss a potential family vacation, Daphne tries to figure whether her father is truly alive.

Another portion of the script was also released, which involves a scene with Ally (Tristin Mays) who received one of Angelo’s organs. Although she seems to have bonded with Daphne and Bay over their father being a piece of her, only time will tell if the newly found friendship will last.

“Switched at Birth” Season 5, episode 7 airs on Tuesday at 9:01 p.m. EDT on Freeform.
