RTTNews - Industrial production in Taiwan dropped 18.31% year-on-year in May, after falling 19.88% in April, the Department of Statistics, Ministry of Economic Affairs said Tuesday. Economists expected a decline of 19%.

During the month, manufacturing output slipped 18.55%, while mining and quarrying output decreased 5.11%. Electricity and gas supply was down 6.9%, while water supply fell 1.69%.
