RTTNews - Taiwan's composite leading index rose a seasonally adjusted 3.3% in May to 94.9, faster than a 2.9% increase in the preceding month, the Council for Economic Planning and Development said Friday.

The indicator six-months annualized rate of change increased by 7.8 points to 3.5%, following 16 monthly negative values.

At the same time, the co-incident index rose 2.7% on a monthly basis to 87.4 in May. Its trend adjusted index rose by 2.8% to 86.2.
