Taiwan smartphone maker HTC Corp said on Friday consolidated sales for October reached T$44.113 billion ($1.5 billion), up 36 percent from the same month a year earlier.

The monthly sales compared with T$32.43 billion in October a year ago and T$45.4 billion in September.

The company did not give further details.
