Bryan Mills and his team are going to work for the President in this week’s episode of “Taken.”

According to the synopsis for Season 2, episode 4 of the NBC action thriller, Bryan (Clive Standen), Christina Hart (Jennifer Beals), Kilroy (Adam Goldberg) and Santana (Jessica Camacho) must recover the President’s stolen emergency satchel before classified national security measures fall into dangerous hands.

For the uninitiated, the President’s emergency satchel, also known as the nuclear football, the button or the black box, is a briefcase used by the President to authorize a nuclear attack while away from fixed command centers, such as the White House Situation Room. It functions as a mobile hub in the strategic defense system of the country, and is usually being held by a senior military officer.

The trailer for the episode suggests that the President’s emergency satchel is stolen during an event in which the head of state is scheduled to make a public appearance. In the 15-second clip, the President is called to the stage when something suddenly explodes in the building.

Guest starring in the episodes are Aaron Roman Weiner as Mark James, Gary Hudson as General Reed, Sarah Lind as Linda, and Luke Humphrey as Neal.

Weiner currently plays as Agent Brooks on the FX period drama “The Americans.” He also previously appeared on NBC’s “Crisis,” Fox’s “The Following” and CBS’ “Person of Interest.”
