Like it or not, “Tanning Mom” Patricia Krentcil will soon be able to add another job title to her growing resume: gay porn actress.

According to the Daily Mail, the New Jersey mother, who was arrested in April 2012 for taking her 14-year-old daughter to a tanning salon and was later parodied on "Saturday Night Live," will soon be making a cameo appearance in an "adult film" produced by Lucas Entertainment, a New York-based gay porn studio. While the 45-year-old mother has reportedly offered to star in adult movies in the past, she will not be nude or participating in any of the sexual activities and will work only for a few hours.

Marc MacNamara, the writer and director of “Kings of New York,” the series Krentcil will be appearing in, told the Huffington Post that the episode is about how anyone can become famous, regardless of talent or motivation. He revealed that the part of the plot would involve the main characters visiting a tanning salon before a trip to Fire Island, and said that Krentcil would be playing the salon’s proprietor.

"We expected Patricia to need a bit of hand-holding, but when she showed up we quickly found out we had to hold more than her hand to prop her seemingly inebriated body up," MacNamara said. "She seemed to having a great time, but it was definitely a challenging day. In the end she delivered Tan Mom in all her glory, and that's what people are infatuated with."

Krentcil’s foray into the porn world may have been inspired by MTV's Farrah Abraham, another mother who has been cashing in on her celebrity, or lack thereof. Abraham recently made her porn debut in “Farrah Superstar: Backdoor Teen Mom” alongside prolific porn star James Deen. But while Abraham will reportedly earn $1.5 million for her 70-minute video, Krentcil will get only an estimated $1,000 for her brief role.

In an email published by E! News, Krentcil approached Vivid Entertainment President Steve Hirsch, suggesting that he also hire her to star in a film, but her offer was rejected. "I see you are trying to buy this sex tape from this Teen Mom, well if you REALLY want to make MONEY then I would agree to let you film me and all my hotness," Krentcil wrote. "Because let's face it I am far MORE popular and WAY HOTTER than Farrah! Men want a cougar and a real woman not a teenybopper. Contact me back if you're ready to talk serious cash and rock the world."

Krentcil’s move is a stark contrast from her earlier claims that she and her five children lead a very normal home life, and her request that the media respect their privacy and leave them alone.

“I'm up at 3 in the morning, making sure all the wash is done. My husband goes to work at 4:30,” Krentcil told NBC's "Today" show in 2012. She added that after her husband leaves for work she makes breakfast for her children and packs their bags, “and then they’re all off and gone. And then I work all day inside and outside the house.”

“Every allegation was completely wrong, and I just want people to leave us alone,” Krentcil added.
