Tarek El Moussa has acquired a big extended family following his divorce from his ex-wife, Christina Haack.

El Moussa, 40, and Haack, 38, were married from 2009 to 2018. Following their divorce, she married Ant Anstead, but they also split two years later. She is now dating Joshua Hall, while Anstead is with Renée Zellweger. For the "Flipping 101 With Tarek El Moussa" star, they are all part of one big family.

"We’ve gotten to know each other a little bit at this point now," El Moussa told Us Weekly Thursday of Anstead.

"And my kids and his kid are, you know, they’re family and it’s like a big extended family," he explained.

El Moussa and Haack share two kids together, daughter Taylor, 10, and son Brayden, 6. The "Christina on the Coast" star and Anstead also have one child together, 2-year-old Hudson. Anstead is also a dad to Amelie, 17, and Archie, 15, with his ex-wife Louise Anstead.

Anstead and Haack announced their split in September 2020. Their divorce was finalized in June. Meanwhile, El Moussa has been engaged to "Selling Sunset" star Heather Rae Young since July last year.

According to El Moussa, the blended dynamic works for the group. "You got me, you have Heather, you have Ant, you have Renée, you have Christina, you have Josh, you have Taylor, you got Brayden," he explained. "So, it’s a modern-day family."

El Moussa also shared his thoughts on Anstead's new romance with the "Bridget Jones's Diary" star. "I think it’s great," he said. "The whole thing is funny. So cliché — a bunch of reality stars. We all know each other."

Young, 34, previously said that it is important for them to maintain a close bond with Anstead because El Moussa's kids and Haack and the "Celebrity IOU: Joyride" co-host's son are siblings. She said they hoped that all the kids "get to grow up together."

"It’s been nice having a friendly relationship and the most important thing is the kids. We all remember that that’s the most important thing to us and the kids’ health and happiness is no. 1 to all of us," she told Us Weekly.

Young also expressed interest in going on a double date with Anstead and his Oscar-winning actress girlfriend, whom she described as "amazing."

But while she and El Moussa remain tight-knit with Anstead, Young said they keep a healthy amount of distance between themselves and Haack.

According to Young, when it comes to Haack, they "put everything aside" and only focus on the kids. The "Selling Sunset" star also said she stays "out of their business" and only focuses on the kids' happiness and health when they are at their home.

"We're not super involved with what happens over at [Christina's] house," Young added.

Meanwhile, El Moussa recently commented on Haack and Hall's engagement rumors, months after his feud with Haack on the set of their show, "Flip or Flop." He suggested that the photos of Haack wearing a diamond ring may be enough proof that the couple is already engaged.

"I hope the best for them," El Moussa told Us Weekly of the couple.

"Flipping 101 With Tarek El Moussa" Season 2 premiered on HGTV Thursday at 9 p.m. EDT and became available to stream the same day on Discovery+.
