Lady Gaga and her boyfriend, Taylor Kinney, seem to have a great relationship. On Wednesday, Kinney opened up for the first time about dating the megastar on the “Today” show.

Kinney, 31, who was promoting his new television show, “Chicago Fire,” was asked by “Today” show hosts Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb if it is weird to date Gaga, who is known for her unique sense of fashion and antics.

“I don’t know, because I don’t have that outside view. It’s normal, if you will, in that respect.

"I’m a happy guy. I’m a lucky guy,” he went on to say.

Gaga is also a very supportive girlfriend, tweeting about her love of his new show, in which he stars as Lt. Kell Severide.

"My bf Taylor is on TV TONIGHT!!! for the premiere of CHICAGO FIRE on NBC at 10/9c in America. Monsters, wanna watch it with me+chat online?" Gaga wrote to her 30 million twitter followers on Oct. 10, the night the show aired.

“I was surprised,” Kinney said in regard to Gaga’s tweet.

“I think she’s proud of, you know, a girlfriend being proud of her boyfriend. She's been to the set a couple of times,” Kinney said to Gifford and Kotb.

The couple met last summer during the filming of Gaga’s music video "You and I," and they had their one-year anniversary in August.

Kinney in return is supportive of Gaga. Back in September, she was criticized by the media for gaining weight. But Kinney stood by her side. Lady Gaga wrote on her blog, “My boyfriend prefers me curvier.

"I'm happy. Happier than I've ever been. I am not going to go on a psycho-spree because of scrutiny. This is who I am. And I am proud at any size.”
