Taylor Lautner Dating His ‘Tracers’ Co-Star Marie Avgeropoulos? Couple Spotted Holding Hands

"Twilight" star Taylor Lautner and Marie Avgeropoulos, who are currently in New York City filming their new movie “Tracers,” an action flick, seem to be an item, going by media reports.

Rumors of Lautner, 21, dating Avgeropoulos, 27, started doing the rounds on Monday, after photographs of the couple holding hands while walking through Manhattan's SoHo neighborhood emerged.

"They're happy and having a fun time together," a source told People magazine, while another told the New York Post that they had a date night on July 15 where they went to watch a performance of the Blue Man Group.

"After the show they popped downstairs to meet the cast," the source told the New York Post. "But Marie, who's on crutches due to a leg injury, had a tough time getting back up to leave. [Taylor] carried her up piggyback."

While Lautner is popularly known for essaying the role of Jacob Black in the film adaptation of Stephenie Meyer’s “Twilight” series, Avgeropoulos has acted in multiple television series such as "Fringe", "Eureka", "90210" and "The InBetweeners." She has also appeared in “I Love You, Beth Cooper,” a 2009 comedy flick.

“Tracers” is said to be a big project for both actors. The film, according to IMDB, shows how a New York City bike messenger, played by Lautner, masters parkour moves after meeting a stranger, whose character is portrayed by Avgeropoulos.

Nothing much is known about Avgeropoulos’ love life, but Lautner has been previously linked to his former co-stars Taylor Swift, Emma Roberts and Lily Collins.
