Taylor Swift has become a victim of Internet trolls following rumors that she is dating One Direction band member Harry Styles.

Several One Direction fans, the “Directioners,” took to Twitter recently, attacking Swift for her supposed relationship with Styles. Some even went as far as to bully the singer with death threats, according to The Sun newspaper in Britain.

“I’ll murder Taylor Swift. She will not date my Harry,” tweeted one troll.

“If u dating my harry, I kill u,” tweeted another.

Swift and Styles reportedly met in March and are believed to have begun dating after Taylor ended her relationship with Conor Kennedy last month.

Rumors about a relationship began to surface after they were seen “canoodling” backstage at the US "X Factor" set earlier this month.

Not only did Styles reportedly sit next to Taylor’s mother in the audience while she performed, "X Factor" host Mario Lopez reports seeing the two walking hand in hand.

Lopez dished the details on his 104.3 MY FM radio show on Friday night, according to the Daily Mail.

“Taylor Swift was the special guest performer, and [here's] a little inside scoop for you,” he said.

“During rehearsals, Harry from One Direction came and slapped me on the back, and said, 'Hey, Mario, how ya doing?' And I said, 'What are you doing here?' And he sort of [pointed] toward Taylor.”

“So Taylor Swift and Harry from One Direction - you heard it here first. [They're] officially hanging out. I can say that much.”

Other sources on the "X Factor" set report seeing the two flirting, smiling and laughing together during rehearsals Thursday.

“After she finished, he went up to the stage. They were joking and laughing. He picked her up and threw her over his shoulder and carried her off,” a source detailed.

But neither Swift nor Styles has confirmed that they are dating.
