Taylor Swift tweeted a link to her fans Thursday night that will surely make the holiday season a bit brighter for many.

Swift sent out a link to her new song for the film Hunger Games titled Safe and Sound. She recorded the song with folk duo Civil Wars. The song features vocals from Joy Williams and John Paul White, according to Rolling Stone.

It is a far more haunting ballad than listeners are used to hearing from Swift. The country singer is known for her poppy country tunes and sweet ballads. This is a much darker ballad with strained vocals and powerful lyrics like Just close your eyes/the sun is going down/You'll be all right/no one can hurt you now.

The Hunger Games soundtrack and movie will debut on March 23. T-Bone Burnett and composer Danny Elfman collaborated on the album and are two of the biggest names in contemporary film music.

The movie stars up and comers Liam Hemsworth, Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson.

Other teasers leading up to the debut include posters and a colorful nail polish line by China Glaze inspired by the film.
