From a young dewy-faced country pop-singer to a glamorous star, the fashion evolution of Taylor Swift has progressed over the years from floral sundresses to couture gowns.

Swift's sartorial transformation from a talented teenager to a stylish star was noted by many and led to the star featuring in a number of magazine covers and photoshoots. In the past, she has graced the cover for Blender, for which she was one of two country artists during the magazine's 15-year run to be a cover subject.

Besides this, Swift was also included in People's annual 100 Most Beautiful People for three consecutive years in 2008, 2009 and 2010. Additionally, she was also named among Maxim's sexiest women of 2008, 2009 and 2010 in a row. She has also graced the covers of Vogue magazine a couple of times.

Time and again, Taylor's modern and fresh looks have captivated the interest of many designers through the years. At the recent 2012 Academy of Country Music Awards, the country singer looked totally fashion forward on the red carpet.

She reportedly selected a striking white J. Mendel gown that featured metallic insets and side cut-outs. The design was a far cry from the old sequins and glitz that we saw in the past at these types of award shows. Taylor wore her hair long with blunt bangs that complimented the streamlined look of the gown.
