Weeks ahead of her sixth studio album, "Reputation," planned Nov. 10 drop, Taylor Swift has gifted her fans with another new single. Now, after listening to the track, everyone is wondering which famous man in her life the song is about.

Swift released the track at midnight Friday, and it has quickly become a fan favorite track, which has led to some fans wondering if the lyric from "Look What You Made Me Do" where she says that the "Old Taylor is dead," is really true, because it reminded them of her other music, albeit with a more mature vibe.

However, most fans of course are obsessed with trying to figure out which of the men in Taylor's life since her last album, "1989," the song is likely about, since it unquestionably deals with a romance. The potential men would be exes Calvin Harris and Tom Hiddleston, as well as current boyfriend Joy Alwyn, and breaking down the lyrics, fans have mostly narrowed it down to two possibilities.

Most of the lyrics seem to reference Tom Hiddleston and Calvin Harris, and many fans have assumed the song is about when Swift met Hiddleston at the Met Gala in 2016. Video of the two dancing together surfaced online shortly after, and Swift and Harris announced their split soon afterwards. Just weeks after the split, Swift and Hiddleston were spotted kissing on the beach in Rhode Island.

Among the lyrics which seem to hint at the song being about Hiddleston are:

"Ocean Blue Eyes looking in mine. I feel like I might sink and drown and die."

Though Hiddleston's eye color has been debated amongst fans for some time (there has been argument over whether or not the color is blue or green), Hiddleston himself said in a 2013 interview with Entertainment Weekly that his eyes are blue, as he described creating the look that his character from the "Avengers" movies, Loki, had.

"You know, I was born with very blonde, curly hair, and a mixture of Scottish and english gEnes, and my complexion is very ruddy and healthy," he said at the time. "In make him with this raven black hair and blanching my face of all color, it changes my features. Suddenly my blue eyes look a lot bluer, which lends a severity to my face."

Overall, the song seems to have a vibe of Swift discussing a crush on someone who she "can't have," which would also seem to reference Hiddleston, as Swift was still with Harris at the time they first met.

However, another lyric which could be about Harris may also seem to reference her new romance with Alwyn. While it suggests that Taylor was with Harris at the time, referencing a boyfriend in a club (Harris is a DJ), an age reference made in the song does not fit with a Harris-Hiddleston timeline, as Hiddleston is older than Harris by three years, whereas Alwyn is younger than him by 10.

The lyric which lends that confusion is:

"You should take it as a compliment that I got drunk and made fun of the way you talk. You should think about the consequence of your magnetic field being a little too strong. And I got a boyfriend, he's older than us. He's in the club doing, I don't know what. You're so cool, it makes me hate you so much (I hate you so much)."

However, the mystery may not in fact be that difficult to figure out after all, as some astute fans have already picked up on an answer that Swift herself reportedly gave during Secret Sessions with fans, who heard the song first and were able to ask her questions. One such fan has since taken to social media and had their assurance that Swift herself says the song is about Alwyn shared several times.

Of course, Swift has never outwardly stated who her songs are about, allowing fans to come up with their own theories from her lyrics, which could mean that it is also simply a distraction technique.
