TD Bank mulls its options as its spokesman Regis Philbin quits talk show

Regis Philbin, who recently quit his lucrative gig as host of “Live With Regis & Kelly,” might also be losing his endorsement deal with TD Bank, which has made him a familiar figure through its television commercials. Kelly Ripa also appeared in the ads.

TD Bank is reportedly mulling over what to do with its star representative. A spokeswoman for the company told AdAge: "As we recently learned of Regis' impending retirement, we are weighing all our options, and haven't made any decisions yet. Regis and Kelly have been great ambassadors for us over the year and have helped us leverage our brand and value proposition of TD Bank, America's Most Convenient Bank, with great success. We wish Regis all the best in the next journey of his life and career."
