Troubled “Teen Mom 2” star Jenelle Evans was arrested for heroin possession Tuesday in North Carolina.

The MTV reality star was detained for possession, possession of paraphernalia and simple assault on husband Courtland Rogers, Evans' lawyer Dustin R.T. Sullivan told E News. Rogers was also arrested for possession and simple assault by the Caswell Beach police, Sullivan added.

The 21-year-old Evans was recently in the hospital for cysts on her ovaries that have a history of rupturing, but it was rumored that she was actually being treated for heroin use and used the ovarian cysts as a cover-up.

Evans has had a tumultuous relationship with Rogers since they got together. The two have had public fights on Twitter and she’s accused him numerous times of abuse, insinuating that it was his fault she miscarried their child a few months earlier.

Evans was in custody pending a $10,000 bond for the possession charge and another $10,000 bond for the assault charge, but according to E News she was released on bond later in the day. Rogers’ bond was placed at $20,000 for his possession charge, Sullivan told the celebrity news site, but he didn’t say whether or not Rogers had been released.

Evans’ day took a wildly different turn from what her Twitter account would lead fans to believe. She reached out to one of her fans earlier in the day, before being arrested, to say that she was doing well and was also sober.

"@LindsayNYC I'm doing great. Eating healthy. My weight is back to normal. I take Multivitamins daily and melatonin at night and I'm SOBER."

Her last tweet was around 7:30 p.m. EDT and she simply said, “Bye Twitter.”

Evans is on the current “Teen Mom 2” series that airs on MTV every Monday at 10/9c.
