It looks like the original cast of “Teen Mom” may be reuniting for a fifth season on MTV. But there is a catch – reports are circulating that Farrah Abraham won’t be joining her co-stars, Amber Portwood, Maci Bookout and Catelynn Lowell.

“Teen Mom” was canceled in 2012, but MTV has kept viewers up to date with its young stars. Specials on the lives of all four women have aired over the past year, and the success of the catch-up episodes has sparked rumors of a new season.

Us Weekly is reporting that MTV is negotiating with the stars of their hit docuseries. And while a fifth season has yet to be confirmed, an insider is claiming that the network is not approaching 22-year-old Abraham.

According to the source, Farrah’s co-stars have refused to sign on for another season if she is involved. “They don’t want their kids on a show where someone’s talking about sex toys,” a source previously dished to Us Weekly. And MTV is reportedly willing to cut Farrah to move forward with a new season.

“They feel she set a bad example and doesn’t represent the network well,” the insider explained of MTV’s decision.

For those unfamiliar with Abraham’s extracurricular activities since leaving the show, the single mom released a sex tape in 2013 with James Deen called “Farrah Superstar: Backdoor Teen Mom.” A second sex tape called “Farrah 2: Backdoor and More” was released in 2014, along with a line of sex toys replicated after her body parts. The starlet also published a book, “My Teenage Dream Ended,” and is also planning on publishing an erotic novel, “Celebrity Sex Tape In The Making” in July.

“I shared my ‘Teen Mom’ struggles with you all, I’ve exceeded my expectations and now I’ve become an amazing person and want to be who I really am,” Farrah tweeted earlier this week.

The negotiation reports for Season 5 of “Teen Mom” come a couple days after rumors of a Season 5B for “Teen Mom 2” began to circulate. According to Ashley’s Reality Roundup, the stars of “Teen Mom 2” – Jenelle Evans, Kailyn Lowey-Marroquin, Chelsea Houska and Leah Messer-Calvert – will be returning in September 2014 with a second half to their fifth season. If this is accurate, Season 5B would cover everything from the post-reunion taping in February to around August.
