Congratulations are in order for “Teen Mom OG” star Maci Bookout. The MTV reality star gave birth to her third child, a baby boy, Tuesday. As previously reported, she and her fiancé, Taylor McKinney, named their bundle of joy Maverick Reed.

Bookout, 24, took to her official Twitter account to share the good news. “Mr. Maverick Reed has officially made his debut and completed our family," she wrote. "So much love, so many blessings!” Within minutes, the message garnered thousands of likes from her 1.38 million followers.

The new baby joins sister Jayde Carter, 1, and Bentley, 7. Maverick was born at 12:35 p.m., weighing 7 pounds, 11 ounces, Bookout told MTV. His face wasn’t revealed, but Bookout lovingly cradled him in her arms in the clip.

The child's name, inspired by the '80s movie “Top Gun,” was something Bookout, 24, had been thinking about for a long time. “Maverick was actually one of our boy name choices when we were pregnant with Jayde before we knew it was a girl,” she told MTV in February. “Reed is a family name for both our families.”

While the name might have always been in the back of her mind, Bookout dished her third pregnancy was a surprise. “I was at the doctor, ironically, to get my birth control prescription refilled!” she told Us Weekly in February. “I laughed at her!"

McKinney and Bookout, who plan to get married in October, “absolutely” do not want any more children. In the future, she said, "there are going to be some permanent birth control decisions made immediately after birth.” Their wedding date and location was accidentally leaked by their photographer last month.

Season 7 of “Teen Mom OG” will air Monday, Aug. 22, at 10 p.m. EDT on MTV.
