MTV's “Teen Wolf” Season 4 wrapped up Sept. 8, and fans are already wondering where Season 5 is going to go. The finale left plenty of loose ends to tie up next season, so fans are hoping Season 5 will answer some of their big questions. Executive producer and showrunner Jeff Davis gave plenty of spoilers to Entertainment Weekly about the new season, which will be 20 episodes. Check out what he said Season 5 would cover:

1. Desert Wolf

Davis said they would “definitely” be exploring the Desert Wolf story in Season 5. In the final moments of the Season 4 finale, Braeden told Derek that she was actually a U.S. Marshal until she became too obsessed with a case. The person she was looking for only had a code name: Desert Wolf. Peter already told Malia the Desert Wolf was her mother, so she’ll probably be looking for her next season.

2. Braeden

Speaking of Braeden, expect to see her again next season. Though actress Meagan Tandy was only supposed to show up in the season premiere, she ended up appearing through most of "Teen Wolf" Season 4. “I’d love her to come back,” Davis said, “And that’s kind of why we tied her into the whole Desert Wolf mystery. I love Meagan Tandy so much. … So Braeden’s definitely going to play a bigger part.”

3. Derek’s Power

"Teen Wolf" Season 5 will have to deal with Derek’s transformation into a wolf. Werewolves don’t easily evolve into a full-on wolf (rather than the human/wolf hybrid viewers usually see), so the evolution means that Derek has a lot of power -- but don't expect him to overthrow Scott as the alpha. "It is to say he may not never be an alpha again," Davis said. "But he’s reached a level of power that he can manipulate his body so he has that control now. He’s just not the leader of a pack. In many ways, it’s like having a very powerful second in command almost."

4. Deputy Parrish

Everyone wants to know exactly what Parrish is, even Lydia. The season finished with Lydia giving him the Bestiary to see if they could identify his species. Davis won’t comment on the what Parrish is, but he mentioned Parrish’s relationship with Lydia. Davis said he enjoyed that "Teen Wolf" fans were already shipping the couple romantically. Parrish’s portrayer Ryan Kelley isn’t quite sure their relationship will be a romance, though. “There’s definitely chemistry there,” Kelley told TV Line. “We’ve had some pretty cool scenes together. Whether it ends up being romantic, or just a friendship where he’s intrigued by her, we’re not quite sure yet.”
