“Teen Wolf” Season 5B showed only a glimpse of Kira (Arden Cho) in the last episode, but get ready to see her back in action. According to the synopsis for episode 13, she’ll be much more involved in the upcoming hour. However, it’s not clear if she’ll make it back to Beacon Hills.

“Kira and her mother travel take extreme measures to help Kira deal with her dark side,” the synopsis says. As previously reported, the kitsune will learn how to deal with not only her powers, but also her relationship with her family.

“It's pretty fun, what we've come up with, and pretty ambitious, and it delves into some of the tougher parts of her relationship with her own mother, too,” showrunner Jeff Davis told the Hollywood Reporter about the episode, titled “Codominance.”

However, it wouldn’t be “Teen Wolf” without life-threatening consequences. In the episode 12 cliffhanger, Kira and Mrs. Yukimura (Tamlyn Tomita) were in the desert looking for shape shifters when three women crawled out of the ground. Kira was ready to fight them, but in the promo video, it’s clear that the stakes are pretty high.

“If we can’t help you, you’ll stay and become one of us,” one of the women says.

“Forever,” another one adds.
