Mike Trout, the top prospect in baseball, will make his Major League Baseball debut tonight for the Los Angeles Angels when they host the Seattle Mariners.

The 19-year-old outfielder was the 25th overall pick in the MLB draft in 2009 but his progress in the minors has since wowed scouts. This year at Double-A Arkansas, in the Texas League, he has batted .324 with a .950 OPS. He's knocked 11 triples and 12 doubles with the Travelers, and he's stolen 28 bases.

Trout will be filling in for Angels center fielder Peter Bourjos, who strained a hamstring last night.

The last teenager to play professional baseball was Justin Upton. He is currently batting .295 with an .888 OPS for the Arizona Diamondbacks.
