The trailer gives some further clarification to the episode’s plot. As Telltale previously detailed, the series puts you into the role of the "Guardians Of the Galaxy" team in a standalone story. Drawing from locations from the film series like Earth and the Milano, the Guardians team faces Thanos and a new female villain who want to obtain an ancient alien artifact.

As with past Telltale games such as “The Walking Dead: A Telltale Series”, the "Guardians Of the Galaxy" game features a heavy emphasis on adventure gameplay and a branching storyline that changes based on in-game decisions. The game will also be released on the heels of Marvel's "Guardians Of the Galaxy: Vol. 2”, which hits theaters May 5. The game features the voices of actors including Scott Porter as Star-Lord, Emily O’Brien as Gamora and Nolan North as Rocket.
