Teresa Giudice has come clean following rumors that she’s breaking up with husband Joe Giudice if he gets deported. Her confirmation also comes in the wake of speculations that she’s planning to file for divorce.

Ahead of the final part of the “Real Housewives of New Jersey” reunion special, People learned exclusively that Teresa is indeed willing to throw away her 20-year marriage with Joe in case he gets deported back to Italy following his prison sentence.

“I’m not doing a long distance relationship. I’m not doing it,” she tells show host Andy Cohen in a clip obtained by the outlet. “I want somebody with me every day.”

Teresa added that should Joe go back to Italy, they wouldn’t be able to maintain a long distance relationship because she’s certain that her husband would look for other women. She reiterated that it’s not going to work for them, so she’s willing to say “bye bye” to Joe.

The “RHONJ” star then cited their children as the reason on why she won’t be moving to Italy with Joe. The couple have four daughters together, Gia, 18, Gabriella, 15, Milania, 13, and Audriana, 10. For Teresa, she’s prioritizing the welfare of their kids than be with Joe.

“Unless my kids say, ‘Mommy, we want to move to Italy,’ [we] are not going,” she said, adding that their kids are studying in the U.S. and there could be a language barrier in case they move to Italy because they don’t speak the language. “It’s like starting a whole new life and they’ve been through so much already.”

While Teresa already made it clear that her marriage with Joe wouldn’t work if they are countries apart, their family attorney, James J. Leonard, denied that they are getting a divorce when he spoke with Daily Mail last month.

According to Leonard, Teresa has only been speaking with immigration lawyers and their conversations were mostly about how to bring Joe back to his family where he belongs. The couple’s lawyer also maintained that there’s “no cheating, no divorce” going on.

Interestingly, Teresa was spotted spending time with a much younger man days after Leonard’s statement. The 46-year-old reality star was photographed with 26-year-old Blake Schreck and Radar Online even claimed that Teresa and her “boy toy” were “canoodling” and very sweet during their three-day tryst at a beach in Miami.

It’s also worth noting that Teresa was spotted hanging out with divorce attorney Loren La Forge-Kyriakoulis. The two had dinner in January and the television personality even revealed on social media that she got “great advice” from the lawyer.
