A man in Texas was arrested Sunday after a mother found a video of him raping her 7-year-old daughter in the "deleted photos" folder of his tablet, according to the San Antonio Police Department.

Jose Trinidad Gonzalez, 35, was still being held in Bexar County jail on a $150,000 bond as of Tuesday morning. He has been charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child and possession of child pornography, according to police, the San Antonio Express News reported.

The mother, whose identity has not been disclosed because of the nature of the alleged crimes, reportedly allowed her children to play games on Gonzalez' tablet, according to San Antonio police.

The mother decided she would check what games her children played on his tablet. While looking at the tablet on Sunday, she also took a look at the photos stored on it.

She opened the "deleted photos" folder on the device and was shocked to discover photos of her daughter’s genitals and a video of Gonzalez, having sex with her, according to the police.

The identity of the victim has been kept hidden, and Gonzalez' relation to the mother and her children, were not released by police due to the nature of the alleged crimes and as releasing that information could also be used to identify the victim in the case.

Incidents involving the alleged crime and recording it for various purposes have taken place throughout the years in the United States and in other parts of the world.

Two men were arrested in September this year after it was alleged that they sexually assaulted a 14-year-old Utah girl and recorded it on video.

Police said the girl told them that she left a party with three guys and the last thing she remembered after that was sitting in the back seat of a car with a man kissing her.

Police obtained a recording that reportedly showed the victim in the back seat of a car with her head hanging off the seat and outside the door.

"[The victim] appears to be unresponsive through most of the video, but does make feeble attempts to push the person on top of her off," a police statement stated. "It appears [the victim] is passed out and/or unconscious throughout most of the video and clearly cannot give consent to anything that is happening to her."

The video also showed two males apparently performing sex acts on the girl as a third man recorded the assault, according to a Fox59 report at the time.

In April 2016, a West Texas man and his wife were arrested after being accused of an alleged sexual assault of a 6-year-old girl and the man allegedly videotaping the incident.

The man was charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child, which is a first-degree felony and his wife had been charged with endangering a child, a state jail felony.

The child reportedly told child advocacy center officials that she and the man were involved in both anal and vaginal intercourse. She told them that before doing so the man allegedly showed her videos of adults performing sexual acts and said that was "what boyfriends and girlfriends do," according to a San Antonio Express report at the time.
