RTTNews - Thursday, the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce reportedly said its consumer confidence indicator for the country fell to its lowest level in more than seven years in April.

The index dropped to 65.1 in April from 66 recorded in March. The April reading was the weakest since December 2001. The consumer confidence survey indicated that households' confidence will continue to be weaker in the coming months.
